James Island Yacht Club docks serve as each morning’s headquarters for the daily boat inspections and shotgun starts for the Palmetto Kingfish Tour Championship. Shem Creek’s Saltwater Cowboys dock is the daily weigh-station headquarters for the Palmetto Kingfish Tour Championship. With the Ravenel Bridge, Charleston peninsula and Fort Sumter as the backdrop from JIYC docks, we couldn’t imagine a more iconic launching-pad from which to start the event. The weigh-ins at the Saltwater Cowboy docks on Shem Creek, well, you can’t ask for a more exciting location to broadcast the daily catch. These are the reasons why we chose the opening and closing locations for the Palmetto Kingfish Tour Championship. You’ve earned it!
